BIO

Ximena has more than 25 years of experience working in the Latin American legal sector and almost 10 years focused on Business Development and Marketing.

She is a Colombian attorney, licensed to practice in Colombia, the state of New York and Ecuador. She is the founder of Lupa Legal, bringing her experience as a practicing attorney at law firms, as an the in-house counsel of a global S&P500 corporation, and lately as the CMO and member of the strategic committee of a leading law firm in Ecuador. Ximena´s deep understanding of the particularities of the Latin American Legal sector and her legal knowledge allows her to advise clients with practical and results-oriented solutions.

Ximena obtained her JD from Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. As a Fulbright scholar, she obtained her Master’s Degree (LLM) in Corporate Law from New York University´s Law School. She worked at Goodwin Procter LLP in Boston, PPU and CMS Rodriguez Azuero in Colombia and Pérez Bustamante & Ponce in Ecuador.

Ximena launched her consulting firm LupaLegal with a focus on business development and marketing strategy for the legal sector. She has advised several firms in their business development strategies in Latin America.
